How you get here



HOW DO YOU GET TO LIVINGSTON?

1. From Guatemala City passing Puerto Barrios
The Atlantic road runs 300 km from Guatemala City to Puerto Barrios on the Caribbean Sea. The local bus company Litegua (www.litegua.com) offers a service almost every hour. From the municipal dock shuttle boats bring you to Livingston in 30 Minutes for about $ 4.- per person, a private service charges around $ 45.-

2. From Guatemala City passing Rio Dulce Village
Follow the Atlantic road until Morales at Km 244, where you turn left towards Flores and Rio Dulce. At Km 274 you get to Rio Dulce, where a huge bridge over spans the water you find the village of Fronteras. One morning and one early afternoon shuttle boat brings you for $ 14.- a person in about 1,5 hours to Livingston.
For a private service you'll spend around $ 100.-, but with various stops on the way.

3. From Flores passing Rio Dulce.
It takes you abot 3 hours to pass the 200 km from Flores in the north of Guatemala until Fronteras at the Rio Dulce River. One morning and one early afternoon shuttle boat brings you for $ 14.- a person in about 1,5 hours to Livingston.
For a private service you'll spend around $ 100.-, but with various stops on the way.

4. From Punta Gorda / Belice to Livingston.
There are shuttle boats on a daily basis in the early afternoon from Punta Gorda to Puerto Barrios, where you catch a shuttle to Livingston.
There is a direct service Punta Gorda - Livingston every Tuesday and Friday.

HOW TO FIND OUR HOTEL
You can't miss the Villa Caribe after arrival in Livingston. Getting to our village from Puerto Barrios you can spot in before arriving at the dock.
After exiting the dock area follow the main street up to the village and you find us after 1 minute on the right hand side.
