What’s to visit?



Playa Blanca - White Beach 45 minutes from Livingston by boat. Perfect to get away from the village activities and relax.

7 Altares - A small river flows into the sea passing thruogh seven small natural pools that invite for a swim. Roughly 20 minutes by boat from Livingston.

Cañon de Río Dulce - The river Rio Dulce (Sweet River) is the natural exit of the largest lake in Guatemala, Lake Izabal, until it flows through a narrow and beautiful canon towards the Caribbean Sea. 28 miles of pure paradise.

Hot Springs - There are various sulphur springs along the river, some of them invite you for a nice hot bath!

San Felipe Fortress - After its first construction in 1594 in order to protect Lake Izabal and the comercial fleet from pirates the fortress has been rebuilt various times.

Project Ak Tenamit - Starting in the early 1990's the Ak Tenamit Project is today home for over 350 students getting here a chance to built a better future.

Río Tatín - A tiny river that runs into the Rio Dulce that can be followed up to its spring.

Belice Cayes- The Belice Cayes are just one hour of Guatemalan shore by boat. They form part of the 2nd biggest barrier reef on our planet and invite your to dive or snorkel.
